Local Celebrities Come Together to Raise Awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters and Youth Mentoring

Celebrity Guest Bartenders and Social Mixer at Red Owl Tavern

What:

Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region and its Philadelphia Regional Board of Directors will be hosting a social mixer at Red Owl Tavern to raise awareness and funds for youth mentoring in the Greater Philadelphia area. The event includes 150 pre-registered guests and local community members who will gather to network and learn about the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters and its need for volunteers to mentor local youth. There are currently over 1,200 children on the agency’s waiting list for compassionate and caring adult mentors.

Five celebrity guest bartenders will be on hand to mingle with guests and share their own mentoring stories. These guest celebrities include Bob Brooks, 6ABC News Anchor, Marshall Harris, Longtime NBC Sports Personality, Wendell Holland, Ghost Island Survivor Winner, Representative Brian Sims, Pennsylvania House of Representatives, and Marcus Allen, CEO, Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region.

The event is open to the public and requires a $35 ticket, which entitles guests with 2 drinks and select appetizers. Click here to purchase advance tickets.
